Welcome to Nene's Notions!

Photo of Janene Charbeneau
This site realizes a "notion" I've had for many years, ever since a good 9 to 5 salary partially diverted me from my first love: textiles. For over a year now I've been engaged full time weaving and sewing my own work for sale, and I've done a lot of custom sewing, alterations and mending for commercial and private clients. I see a wonderful variety of items from wedding dresses to vintage jeans.
My experience in conservation and vintage clothing is often visible in designs from my loom and in my hand-sewn items. You can check prices and purchase many of the pieces shown below direct from my store at Etsy.com
For mending, alterations and conservation needs, just contact me by phone or email. Thanks for stopping by!
